• . <br /> ANNEXATION AGREEMENT <br /> This Annexation Agreement made by and between the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation ("City") and Magna <br /> Millikin Bank of Decatur N.A. , ("the Bank") . <br /> WHEREAS, the Bank is the owner of the following described <br /> premises: <br /> Beginning at the southeas� corner of the southwest 1/4 <br /> of the southwest 1/4, Section 22, Township 17, Range <br /> t3orth 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , thence west to a point <br /> said point being 399 .03 east of the southwest corner of <br /> said southwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4, Section 22 , <br /> thence north to a point in the south right-of-way line <br /> of U.S. Route I-72, said point being 924 . 72 feet west of <br /> the east line of the said southwest 1/4 of the southwest <br /> 1/4 of Section 22 , thence east on the south right-of-way <br /> line to the east line of said southwest 1/4 of the <br /> southwest 1/4, Section 22, thence south the the place of <br /> beginning. <br /> ("Premises") , <br /> which Premises are outside of the corporate limits of the City <br /> but contiguous thereto; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Bank desires to annex said Premises to the <br /> City, but only upon certain terms and conditions; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City agrees that said terms and conditions, as <br /> contained herein, are reasonable and acceptable; and, <br /> WHEREAS, hearings have been held and notice given as <br /> required by law. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual <br /> promises and obligations made and assumed herein, and pursuant to <br /> the authority of 111.
