Clark, Community Development Director <br /> DATE: June 12 , 1990 <br /> SUBJECT: Third Party Subgrantee Agreements for the <br /> FY90-91 CDBG Program <br /> With your concurrence, We would like to place the seven ( 7 ) <br /> attached Subgrantee Agreements on the City Council Agenda for <br /> Monday, June 18 , 1990 . These Agreements are for the Fiscal Year <br /> 1990-91 Community Development Block Grant Program. R Resolution <br /> authorizing Council action on these Agreements is attached. <br /> 1 . Comprehensive Youth Services - $2 , 500 to assist in temporary <br /> placement for at risk youth. <br /> 2 . Decatur Housing Ruthority - $32 , 000 to fund the Hire Back <br /> Program. <br /> 3 . Lincoln Square Theatre Foundation - $15 , 000 to assist in a <br /> feasibility study of the Lincoln Theatre to determine the <br /> renovation possibilities for use as a community <br /> theatre/meetinq place. <br /> 4 . Historic and Architectural Sites Commission - $8 , 200 for use <br /> in the promotion of the Historic Preservation Awareness <br /> Program, Historic District Survey and various publications . <br /> 5 . DCDF, Inc . - $284 , 000 for rehabilitation projects . <br /> 6 . Decatur Macon County Opportunities Corporation - $5 , 570 to <br /> carry-over from last year project - a feasibility study to <br /> find new location for Anna Water Head Start Program. <br /> 7 . NAACP - $8 , 000 carry-over funds to complete public awareness ', <br /> fair housing program. ' <br /> CDBG requests from each agency were submitted to and ap- ', <br /> proved by City Council . The activities were included in the ', <br /> City' s FY90-91 CDBG application, which has been approved by the ', <br /> U. S . Department of Housing and Urban Development.
