r I (2) Location of work described shall be inclusive of the location of the work provided under this project. (3) The period of certificates shall cover the period of the work or a new certificate shall be furnished before the current certificate expires. (4) Indemnification clause must be typed on back of Certificate of Insurance an initialed by an authorized representative. SECTION IV - COMPENSATION FOR BASIC ENGINEERING SERVICES The OWNER shall compensate the ENGINEER for Basic Engineering Services in the amount as follows in this section. 1. The ENGINEER shall be compensated by the OWNER in accordance with Exhibit A for all work authorized by the OWNER which is accomplished on a time and e�enses basis. 2. The ENGINEER shall be compensated by the OWNER in accordance with Exhibit A for all detailed inspections for repairs, cleaning, and painting. 3 . The ENGINEER reserves the right to renegotiate with the OWNER any or all fees outlined above after the first anniversary of the execution of this contract. SECTION V - PERIOD OF SERVICES A. The term of this AGREEMENT shall begin on May 11, 1990. The ENGINEER shall complete any project awarded during the term of the existing AGREEMENT but not completed during the original term of the AGREEMENT. The ENGINEER shall be compensated for all such work undertaken and completed. B. All work under this AGREEMENT shall be assigned within one (1) year from the date of the AGREEMENT unless an extension beyond that date is agreed to by both parties as provided in "C" below. C. The AGREEMENT may be extended for two (2) additional one-year periods should conditions be such each year that extension of the AGREEMENT is in the best interest of the OWNER. In any case, both parties must mutually agree in writing.
