r I <br /> (2) Location of work described shall be inclusive of the <br /> location of the work provided under this project. <br /> (3) The period of certificates shall cover the period of <br /> the work or a new certificate shall be furnished <br /> before the current certificate expires. <br /> (4) Indemnification clause must be typed on back of <br /> Certificate of Insurance an initialed by an authorized <br /> representative. <br /> SECTION IV - COMPENSATION FOR BASIC ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> The OWNER shall compensate the ENGINEER for Basic Engineering <br /> Services in the amount as follows in this section. <br /> 1. The ENGINEER shall be compensated by the OWNER in accordance <br /> with Exhibit A for all work authorized by the OWNER which is <br /> accomplished on a time and e�enses basis. <br /> 2. The ENGINEER shall be compensated by the OWNER in accordance <br /> with Exhibit A for all detailed inspections for repairs, <br /> cleaning, and painting. <br /> 3 . The ENGINEER reserves the right to renegotiate with the <br /> OWNER any or all fees outlined above after the first <br /> anniversary of the execution of this contract. <br /> SECTION V - PERIOD OF SERVICES <br /> A. The term of this AGREEMENT shall begin on May 11, 1990. The <br /> ENGINEER shall complete any project awarded during the term <br /> of the existing AGREEMENT but not completed during the <br /> original term of the AGREEMENT. The ENGINEER shall be <br /> compensated for all such work undertaken and completed. <br /> B. All work under this AGREEMENT shall be assigned within one <br /> (1) year from the date of the AGREEMENT unless an extension <br /> beyond that date is agreed to by both parties as provided in <br /> "C" below. <br /> C. The AGREEMENT may be extended for two (2) additional one-year <br /> periods should conditions be such each year that extension of <br /> the AGREEMENT is in the best interest of the OWNER. In any <br /> case, both parties must mutually agree in writing. <br />
