I <br /> ANNEXATION AGREEMENT �� <br /> This Annexation Agreement made by and between the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation ( "City") and Wilder <br /> Corporation, a Delaware Corporation ("the Corporation") . <br /> WHEREAS, the Corporation is the owner of the following <br /> described premises: <br /> SEE EXHIBIT A ATTACHED HERETO AND <br /> HEREBY MADE A PART HEREOF <br /> ( "Premises") , <br /> which Premises are outside of the corporate limits of the City <br /> but contiguous thereto; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Corporation desires to annex said Premises to <br /> the City, but only upon certain terms and conditions; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City agrees that said terms and conditions, as <br /> contained herein, are reasonable and acceptable; and, <br /> WHEREAS, hearings have been held and notice given as <br /> required by law. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual <br /> promises and obligations made and assumed herein, and pursuant to <br /> the authority of Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, Ch. 24 , para. 11-15 . 1-1 et <br /> seq. , the City and the Corporation agree as follows: <br /> 1. The Corporation shall file an annexation petition with <br /> the City, in compliance with I11. Rev. Stat. 1987 , Ch. 24 , para. <br /> 7-1-8 , said petition to describe the Premises and to request that <br />
