The camera features forward motion compensation (FMC) which eliminates
forward image motion on the exposed negative, regardless of aircraft speed.
Another technology advanced feature of the camera is exposure balancing across
the entire negative frame.
The aircraft to be used has been modified to provide a stable platform for aerial
mapping and has been certified by the FAA. A specific aircraft altitude above
mean sea level will be predetermine based on the mean ground terrain elevation
of Decatur and the surrounding area, and your desired negative scale of 1"=1000' .
The negatives will be exposed so that the negatives overlap adjacent negatives
along each line of flight by 80 percent.
