Ba�on, Jr. , City Manager <br /> RE: Formation �f a Water Authority <br /> Petitions have been filed in Macon County Circuit Court <br /> seeking to form a water authority pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Illinois state law. The proposed district includes 120 acres of <br /> property owned by the City and all of the sites presently under <br /> lease for well field development. Accordingly, the City has an <br /> interest in this matter. <br /> The attached resolution supporting formation of the <br /> authority should be approved because it is complimentary to the <br /> City' s efforts . <br /> Attachment <br />
