 • -. .
September 27, 1989
PUBLIC WORKS MEMORANDUM
NO. 89 - 76
TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council
FROM: James C. Bacon, Jr. , City Manager
SUBJECT: Intergovernmental Agreement with Sanitary District
Combined Sewer Rehabilitation
City Project 8813
The Council has previously approved an agreement with the
Sanitary District for a joint City-District television survey of
large trunk combined sewers in our respective jurisdictions.
Due to a large amount of debris in some of the sewers, it
will be necessary to have the debris removed before the TV survey
can be completed.
An addendum to the previous agreement stipulates that the
City will share in the costs of the cleaning contract and the en-
gineering contract with Bainbridge, Gee, Milanski & Associates.
Bids will be taken by the District for the cleaning of the
sewers. Total cost to the City is estimated to be approximately
$75,000 . 00.
A resolution to that effect will be on the agenda for the
meeting of Monday, October 2, 1989.
The Public Works Director will be available to answer any
questions at the meeting.
