THEREFORE, In Consideration of these premises and the mutual <br /> covenants of the above described PROJECT: <br /> THE ENGINEER AaREEB, <br /> 1. To provide consultation on interpretation of plans <br /> and specifications and changes under consideration <br /> as construction proqresses. <br /> 2 . To review and check all payment estimates, change <br /> orders, records and reports required by the OWNER. <br /> 3 . To provide semi-continuous resident inspection of the <br /> work and the CONTRACTOR's operation for compliance <br /> with the plans and specifications as construction <br /> proceeds. Semi-continuous resident inspection is <br /> defined as beinq on the project site for at least <br /> fifty (50) percent of the time the Contractor is <br /> working. <br /> 4 . To conduct final inspection of the construction and <br /> to prepare the final papers and reports. <br /> THE OWNER AGREES, <br /> l. To compensate the ENGINEER for providing the above <br /> services with a fee based on the technical payroll <br /> cost of performing such work times a multiplier of <br /> 2 . 0 to cover overhead, profit, and readiness to <br /> serve.
