ENGINEERING COMPANY CONSULTINO ENOtNEER8 <br /> SCHEDULE OF CHARGES <br /> A. Compensation <br /> For the consulting engineering services covered by the accompanying proposal <br /> letter, Harza Engineering Company shall be paid monthly the sum of: <br /> 1. Direct Salaries, plus <br /> 2. Overhead Costs at 167$, plus <br /> 3. Direct Costs, plus <br /> 4. Fee at 10� of Salaries, Overhead, and Direct Costs <br />' B. Definitions <br /> l. Direct Salaries - Actual salaries paid to all personnel, including <br /> officers, engineers, designers, supervisors, draftsmen, other technical <br /> personnel, word processors and other personnel for the time directly <br /> engaged on the work. <br /> 2. Overhead Costs - Costs which cannot be allocated to specific <br /> projects; examples are vacation time, sick leave time, holidays, <br /> social security taxes, general administrative payroll, general <br /> stenographic and clerical payroll, rent of office and drafting room <br /> space, utilities, depreciation of office equipment, cost of main- <br /> taining customary liability and property insurance, etc. <br /> 3. Direct Costs - Costs which are directly applicable to the work such <br /> as transportation and subsistence expenses on travel in the interest <br /> of the work, relocation expense for field assignments, long distance <br /> telephone, telegraph and telex expenses, reproductions, special <br /> insurance, Harza (in-house) and outside electronic computer rental <br /> costs, usage of computer programs and subcontracts, including model <br /> and laboratory testing, aerial and ground surveying, subsurface , <br /> exploration, and special consultants. <br /> 4.
