CITY OF DECATL� ILLINOIS PROPOSED STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS ENGINEERING SERVICE AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMLNT, made and entered into th�.�y af A.D. , 1989, by and between the CITY OF DECATIIR� ILLINOIS, hereinafter fe e to as. the "CITY," and BAINBRIDGE� GEE, MIIANSKI �& ASSOCIATES, CONSIILTI ENG ERS, herein- after referred to as the "ENGINEER�" covers professional engineering services in connection with._the preparation of plans, specifications, estimates of cost and construction of certain Drainage Improvements in the southern portion of the City, said project designated as City Project 8902 - Forrest Green Drainage Improvements. WITNESSETH THAT, in consideration of these premises and of the mutual coven- ants herein set forth, THE ENGINEER AGREES, 1. Desirtn Services - To perform or be responsible for the performance of the following professional engineering services for the CITY in connection with the proposed improvements hereinbefore described: a. Prepare a preliminary study of the subject drainage area and advise the CITY regarding proposed layout to achieve project needs. � b. Make such detailed surveys as are necessary for the prepara- tion of detailed construction plans. c. Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications for the project. . d. Direct any test borings or sub-surface explorations neces- sary for the proper preparation of said detailed Construc- tion Drawings and Specificatio�as. e. Prepare proposal forms and notice to bidders and assist in the preparation of the Contract Documents. f. Prepare estimate of project construction cost based on final plans and documents. g. Furnish ten (10) copies of the Contract Documents consisting of Construction Agreement Forms, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Detailed Construction Drawings and Specifica- tions. Addition.al sets of plans, specifications and con- tract documents shall be furnished, unon request, at the actual cost of preparing and delivering tre same.
