�' �q - s <br /> . . . . . _ � <br /> . <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> AGREEMENT between The City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal <br /> corporation (hereinafter "City") and The Decatur Housing <br /> Authority, a unit of local government (hereinafter "Authority" ) . <br /> WHEREAS, the Authority wishes to increase the level of <br /> security at certain of its locations by providing additional <br /> security personnel; and., <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to assist the Authority in this <br /> effort by reimbursing the Authority for a portion of its <br /> increased expenditures, thereby improving the public safety and <br /> welfare. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual <br /> promises and obligations made and assumed hereunder, the City and <br /> the Authority agree as follows: <br /> 1 . The City will reimburse the Authority for any salary or <br /> wage expenses incurred by the Authority in hiring security <br /> personnel, whether employees or independent contractors, but with <br /> regard to employees of the Authority only for those hired after <br /> May 1 , 1989 ; provided that the total obligation of the City <br /> hereunder shall not exceed $59, 888 .00 and in no event shall the <br /> City be obligated or liable to the Authority for any amount in <br /> excess of $59, 888 . 00 by virtue of this Agreement. <br /> I 2 , The City shall reimburse the Authority on a monthly <br /> basis upon presentment to, and approval by, the Finance Director <br /> of the City of proper evidence of indebtedness for, or payment <br /> of, such expenditures as the City is obligated to reimburse the <br />
