The City will solicit proposals, take bids, let all <br /> contracts and process payment estimates and bills to execute the <br /> project, provided that it will not award any construction <br /> contract until the same has been approved by all of the parties <br /> hereto. In the absence of such approvals, no payment will be due <br /> from Miles; however, the County will be required to reimburse the <br /> City for 50$ of the City' s cost incurred, not to exceed the <br /> maximum specified in paragraph 3 hereof. No such approval will <br /> be unreasonably withheld, but Miles has no obligation to approve <br /> any contract which does not require work in the Northeast Quarter <br /> of Section 3 , Township 16 North, Range 3 East of the 3rd P.M. to <br /> begin before June 1 , 1989 , and to be completed as soon as <br /> reasonably possible thereafter. <br /> 6 . When costs incurred by the City reach $234 ,000, the City <br /> will bill the County for reimbursement in the amount of $117 ,000 , <br /> which sum the County will promptly pay upon receipt of such bill. <br /> Thereafter, the County will reimburse the City for the remainder <br /> of its obligations hereunder at the rate of $27 ,000 per year <br /> until such obligation is satisfied. Miles shall reimburse the <br /> City for its share of expenses upon the completion of the <br /> project, but at a rate not to exceed $25 ,000 per year. <br /> 7 . This Agreement supercedes that agreement between the <br /> County and the City dated December, 1986 . <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF the County has caused this Agreement to <br /> be signed, sealed and attested on its behalf as of the ! 7 day <br /> of , 1989 , by the Chairman of the County Board and <br /> the County erk they being duly authorized so to do. <br />
