Review the existing drawings and specifications for the parking areas. <br /> 2. Conduct a field examination of the physical condition of the parking <br /> areas, including stairtowers, and conduct limited non-destructive <br /> field testing. The test that will be considered are as follows: <br /> a. Chain drag deiamination survey - � <br /> b. Visual notation of walls and ceilings <br /> c. Concrete sampiing for chloride <br /> d. Cover measurements for reinforcing steel <br /> e. Air content and strenqth �determination <br /> 3. Review specifications prepared by others for previous repairs. <br /> 4. Make recommendations for any repairs that are immediately necassary <br /> for the continuing safety of users of the parking facility. <br /> 5. Evaluate restoration proqram alternatives. <br /> 6. Furnish a preliminary estimate of probable cost for tj�e repairs based <br /> upon projections of deterioration. <br /> � 7. Provide report of findings, conclusions and recommendations . <br /> Phase II - Construction Documents <br /> 1. Based on the recort�nendation of Phase I and discussions with you, <br /> prepare drawings and specifications for repair/restoration work <br /> required. <br /> Phase III - Construction Phase <br /> � <br /> 1. Assist in preparing bidders' list, the receiving of bids, and ' <br /> negotiations with contractors to perform the work. ' <br /> ; <br /> 2. Review and approve shop drawings and material sample submittals. <br /> 3. Period�cally observe the repair/restoration work progress and report I� <br /> to you.
