Following the Contract period the discounted prices will be held firm for a period of three (3) years plua the ' increase in the EPpI (Electronics Producer's Price Index). The date of Contract signing will be used as the index date. Should actual testing show that additional receiver sites are required, then the , per unit prices will applp for additional equipment. SMA's carry a discounted price of $170.25 each. The Budgetarq installation prices, which include the costs of towers are also firm during the Contract : period. In addition, I have included a le tter from one of our Area Systems Engineers that addresses some of the specific issues relative to the coverage shown. As I , the maps are predictions, it is Motorola's recommendation that actual field � tests be done using the SMA's in vehicles once the preliminary system is complete. This will allow for fine tuning of the actual requirements. Per our previous discussions, this letter clarifies all the outstanding issues ,_ remaining prior to Contract signing. This le tter will become part of the - Contract documents. In addition to the City of Deca tur's Contract form, ; Motorola requires that the seperate Software License Agreement furnished be ' signed by the City of Decatur. A Performance Bond will also be furnishpd by iKotorola.
