Clark, Director <br /> Department of Community Development <br /> SUBJECT: Clean Community System Grant Application <br /> We are requesting Council authorization to submit an application <br /> for funding to the Illinois Department of Commerce and Community <br /> Affairs ( DCCA) for the Decatur-Macon County Clean Community <br /> System. This would be a "pass through" grant of $8 , 920 to <br /> support a pilot program for curbside recycling of residential <br /> waste and other programs . This is in compliance with goals from <br /> the report of the Housing and Neighborhoods Task Force . <br />
