� 8t�e of folnols S� 0 <br /> '' . 11Aacon Gaunty �� <br /> + �����o� Thet 1'h(e Inetrument Was Ftied For <br /> � - � BooK 2 5`7 3 PA�� � � � ReaordAt 11:00 AM ,� <br /> ORDINANCE NO. �- �� [��C - � ���E� <br /> Reco�d�ok �2s����e 383 <br /> � �n. <br /> Fes�5.oo ch ����ecorder <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY <br /> - ARCHER-DANIELS-MIDLAND COMPANY - ����� �""A <br /> ��. . .� -.�.i�. <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to <br /> the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Archer-Daniels-Midland Company requesting that <br /> there be annexed to the City territory described as: <br /> The North five (5) acrss af Lot 3 of Clark's Subdivision of a part of <br /> the E 1/2, Northwest 1/4, Section 5 and a part of the E 1/2, SW <br /> 1/4, Section 5, all in Township 16 North, Range 3 East of the 3rd <br /> P.M., as recorded in Book 300 Page 72 of the records in the <br /> Recorder's Oi�ice of Macon County, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within <br /> such temtory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City <br /> and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCII, OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, <br /> approved. <br /> Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public <br /> highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same <br /> are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a <br /> municipal corporation. <br /> Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and hereby made a part <br /> hereof. <br /> Section 4. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively <br /> filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois. <br />
