� a . .a • ORDINANCE NO. �� AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY -ROLJTE 48 AND SOUTH SIDE DRNE- WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of BATH, Inc.. requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: Lot Two (2) of Borchers Subdivision as per Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 235 of the records in the Recorde�s Office of Macon County, Illinois; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and that no electors reside therein, and that said temtory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WflEEREAS, notice of intention to take action for anne�tion has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, II.LINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved. Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with a11 parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. Section.4. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
