Macon County Certify �.�, Thet This Instrument Was Filed For "'� Record At ]0•00 AM ORDINANCE NO. � An �3„ _ And � ,r � "'""' SEP 2 61994 �' Recorded in Book2563pege816 �' AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY ;�r,n , , /�� -ROUTE 48 AND SOUTH SIDE DRIVE - �-z...,�(./ � � ,�e 17. 0 cl}Zecorder of Deada ' WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of BATH, Inc.. requesting that there be annexed to the City tetritory described as: Lot Two (2) of Borchers Subdivision as per Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 23� of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WI�REAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY TF� CITY COUNCII. OF TI� CITY OF DECATUR, II.LINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved. Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public ivghways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, lllinois, a municipal corporation. Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. Section 4. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
