ORDINANCE NO. � — � 5� <br /> ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONSUMPTION OF <br /> ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR IN CENTRAL PARK <br /> DECATUR-MACON COUNTY SE1vIOR CENTER, INC. <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur-Macon County Senior Center, Inc. annually has held a fa11 <br /> fund-raiser; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Decatur-Macon County Senior Center, Inc. to hold <br /> this year's fund-raiser during the Art Fair; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Decatur-Macon County Senior Center, Inc. to offer <br /> alcoholic liquor for sale to these patrons for consumption at the Art Fair; and, <br /> WHEREAS, such consumption of alcoholic liquor in Central Park requires the express <br /> approval of the City Council; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Council flnds that it would be in the best interest of the Decatur-Macon <br /> County Senior Center, Inc. and of the City of Decatur that such consumption of alcoholic liquor <br /> as described be pernutted for said limited time period. <br /> NOW, TI�REFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY TI-� CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That on the day listed herein, and only on such day, between the hours listed <br /> opposite thereof, alcoholic liquor may be consumed in Central Park located in downtown <br /> Decatur, said day and hours being particularly described as follows: <br /> Saturday, September 17, 1994 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. <br /> r Section 2. That no alcoholic liquor may be consumed as provided herein unless such <br /> alcoholic liquor is in a plastic or paper cup. <br /> Section 3.
