Re:corded in doak2�lp�g�� <br /> ��� �y�.�i <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY � �'� <br /> 18. 0 C� � Q <br /> - 3890 NORTH TAYLOR ROAD - Fee��{�e rder of Deeds <br /> �'•+ <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by � <br /> said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under ,r„r <br /> oath of James Ewing requesting that there be annexed to the City � <br /> territory described as: � <br /> Lot Fifteen (15) of Cloyd's First Subdivision as per � <br /> Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 230 of the records in the � <br /> Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners <br /> of record of all land within such territory and by at least 50� <br /> of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any <br /> city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation <br /> has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby, approved. <br /> Section 2 . That said territory hereinabove described, along <br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are <br /> hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 3 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and hereby made a part hereof. <br /> Section 4 .
