Harding and Deana K. Harding requesting that .,,,� there be annexed to the City territory described as: � � Lot Two (2) of Dement's Addition as per Plat recorded in � Book 1832 Page 411 of the records in the Recorder's � Office of Macon County, Illinois, except the following � part of Lot 2: Beginning at a westerly corner of Lot � , said point being the Northeast Corner of Lot 3 of said Dement's Addition; thence North 90 degrees 00' 00" W, 162 . 80 feet along the South line of said Lot 2 to the West line of Lot 2 ; thence North O1 degrees 18' 38" E, 386. 74 feet along the said West line of Lot 2 to the Northwest Corner of Lot 2 ; thence South 55 degrees 40' 38" E. 213 . 92 feet along the North line of said Lot 2 ; thence South 09 degrees 27' 38" E. 176.40 feet along the said North line of Lot 2 ; thence South 29 degrees 28' 24" W, 105.70 feet to the point of beginning; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 50� of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C1TY OF DE�ATL'R, �LLINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the fequest thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved. Section 2 . That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 3. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof.
