� <br /> ORDINANCE NO. / ' � 0 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY <br /> - 2220 BOILING SPRINGS ROAD - <br /> WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by <br /> said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under <br /> oath of JoEllen Bennett requesting that there be annexed to the <br /> City territory described as: <br /> An Undivided Four-Fifths (4/5) interest in the following <br /> described real estate: <br /> Commencing at a stone at the Southeast corner of the <br /> Northeast Quarter of Section 32 , Township 17 North, <br /> Range 2 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian in the County <br /> of Macon and State of Illinois; thence Northerly 459 . 17 <br /> feet along the East line of said NE 1/4 , Sec. 32 ; thence <br /> Westerly 160 . 08 feet along the centerline of Boiling <br /> Springs Road, said centerline also being the North line <br /> of Huston Forest Acres as per Plat recorded in Book 300 <br /> Page 350 of the records in the Recorder's Office of <br /> Macon County, Illinois to a point for a place of <br /> beginning; thence Northerly 200. 08 feet along a line <br /> parallel with said East line of the NE 1/4 of Section <br /> 32 ; thence Westerly 120. 00 feet along a line parallel <br /> with sa�d centerline of Boiling Springs Road, thence <br /> Southerly 200. 08 feet along a line parallel with said <br /> East line of the NE 1/4 of Section 32 to a point on said <br /> centerline of Boiling Springs Road; thence Easterly , <br /> 120 . 00 feet along said centerline of Boiling Springs <br /> Road to the point of beginning. Containing in all 0. 551 <br /> acres, more or less. <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners <br /> of record of all land within such territory and by at least 50% <br /> of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is � <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any I <br /> city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, li <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation I <br /> has been given as required. ' <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE � <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOI5: <br /> Section 1 . That said petition and the request thereof be, I <br /> and the same are hereby, approved. <br />
