The Commission shall, <br /> • by written examination, examine each applicant as to his practi- <br /> cal knowledge of the installation, safe construction, alteration, <br /> testing, maintenance and servicing of Heating, Air Conditioning <br /> and Refrigeration systems, of the provisions of this Chapter and <br /> such applicable national codes and standards as may be applicable <br /> to the business and work of a heating, Air Conditioning and <br /> Refrigeration Mechanic. <br /> 7 . QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT (MECHANIC) . Each applicant <br /> shall be at least 21 years of age and be a Registered Profes- <br /> sional Engineer, or have had not less than four years practical <br /> experience in the field of heating, air conditioning or <br /> refrigeration work, or have satisfactorily completed a course in <br /> the particular subject in a recognized school accompanied by one <br /> year of practical experience. <br /> 8 . LICENSE FEE. �.,icenses shall be issued annually for the <br /> period of October 1 through September 30 of the next succeeding <br /> year with and annual fee of $50 . 00 for Contractors License and <br /> $50. 00 for a Mechanics License, which is in addition to the ex- <br /> amination fee rovided for elsewhere herein.
