` OCCUPIED PETITION FOR ANNEXATION TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF T}iE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : The undersigned, under oath, respectfully represent as follows : 1. Ttiat they are the owners of record of all the territory herein described. 2 . That at least 51� of the electors who reside on the territory herein described have signed and do join in this petition . 3 . That the territory herein described is not within the corporate limits of any municipality. 4 . That the territory herein described is contiguous to the City of Decatur, a municipal corporation . 5 . That the petitioner requests that the City of Decatur, a municipal corporation, annex the following described property: Part of Sections 28 and 33 of ToWnship 16 North , Range 2 East of the Third P.M. , situated in Macon County, Illinois, more particularly described as folloWs : Beginning at a point 420. 26 ' EaSt of the NorthNest corner of the Northeast �uarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 33; thence South 211 .8� ' ; thence East 468. 10 ' inore or less to a point 50 ' West of the center of the Illinois Central Gulf , Railroad; thence Northeasterly to a point on the North line of said Section 33 , said point being 411 . 18 ' West of the Northeast corner of said Section 33 ; thence Westerly along the center line of West Grove Road to a point 45 ' North of the poinL- of beginning ; thence South 45 ' to the point oi beginning, containing 2.03 acres, more or less.
