Morrison and Jeffrey L. Morrison requesting that �� <br /> there be annexed to the City territory described as: ��, <br /> � <br /> �`�,� <br /> Lot Two (2) of Pickrel's Addition, a resurvey of Lot One �� <br /> (1) of Gretchen's Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book � <br /> 1832 Page 457 of the records in the Recorder's Office of � <br /> Macon County, Illinois. � <br /> WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners � <br /> of record of all land within such territory and by at least 50% <br /> of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is <br /> contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any <br /> city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation <br /> has been given as required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, <br /> and the same are hereby, approved. <br /> Section 2 . That said territory hereinabove described, along <br /> with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent <br /> thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are <br /> hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 3 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and hereby made a part hereof. <br /> Section 4 .
