, � � <br /> WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> For and in consideration of the undertakings and covenants <br /> set out herein, it is agreed by and between the Owner (s) of the <br /> premises described at paragraph 8 hereof, and which person of <br /> persons are signatory hereto, ("Owner" ) , an�d THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS, ("City" ) , as follows: <br /> 1 . The provisions of this Agreement, and the installation, <br /> operation and use of the water service authorized hereby, are <br /> expressly made subject to all applicable provisions of codes, <br /> ordinances, rules and regulations of City, and Owner agrees to <br /> comply therewith. � <br />, 2 . After completion of the construction of a water main by <br /> the City in the street or ' roadway adjacent to the premises <br /> described herein, and upon obtaining a tapping permit in the <br /> customary manner followed by the City for premises within its <br /> corporate limits, Owner may tap said water main of City and <br /> connect a water service thereto to furnish residential service <br /> only to said premises. <br /> 3 . Said tap, connection and service shall be made and <br /> installed by a licensed plumber. <br /> 4 . The water furnished b Cit shall only be used for <br /> Y Y <br /> domestic purposes and only upon the premises described herein. <br /> 5 . At such time as said premises become contiguous to the <br /> corporate limits of City, the then owner of said premises shall , <br /> within ninety (90) days after receiving notice from City th�reof, <br /> petition to annex the same to the City. <br /> 6 . This Agreement shall terminate upon the failure by Owner <br /> to comply with any provision hereof or with any applicable <br /> provision of City Code, ordinances, rules or regulations, or upon <br /> the annexation of said premises to the City, and may be <br /> terminated by either party upon six (6) months notice by <br /> certified mail to the other, addressed to One Civic Center Plaza, <br /> Decatur, Illinois, if to the City, or to <br /> , if to the Owner. <br /> 7 . This Agreement is intended for the benefit of said <br /> premises as well as the current owner and occupant thereof and to <br /> said end shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of said <br /> owner and his successors in title. <br /> Exhibit C <br />
