4 < ,

EXCERPTS FROM
TRAFFIC & PARKING COMMITTEE MEETING
NOVEMBER, 1993
Item #3 Police Services Division request to make permanent the
following 90-day traffic changes:
Jackson Street - one-way south from Decatur Street
to Sheridan Street.
Jackson Street - one-way north from Cantrell Street
to Sheridan Street.
Sheridan Street - one-way west from Martin Luther
King, Jr. Drive to Franklin Street.
No parking be allowed on both sides of the street on
Cleveland between Jackson and Martin Luther King,
Jr. Drive.
Cook believes that if the residents of the neighborhood want the
traffic changes, they should have them.
It was moved and seconded (Nordholm/Cook) to accept staff I
recommendation that the temporary traffic changes be made
permanent. There being no one opposed, the motion carried. II
Newell had attached a letter from Jack Evans of Fix Masters I
regarding the one-way signage around his building. Mr. Evans
contacted Newell and asked that the matter be tabled to the next
meeting because Mr. Evans would be out of town. The matter was
so tabled.
