Extension <br /> Shutter Dr.-Boyd Road <br /> Dear Bill : <br /> Transmitted herewith is the estimate of cost to extend MLK Jr.Dr. <br /> from Shutter Drive northerly to a point 2U0 feet North of the Boyd <br /> Road future extension. This cost estimate is based on the following: <br /> A. MLK Jr. Dr. will have a cross section of 3 lanes (12 foot <br /> lanes - 36 edge to edge) from Shutter Dr. to Boyd Road <br /> (Westerly extension of Boyd following ��he property line/ <br /> land line alignment). There will be B-ti: 24 curb and <br /> gutter with related storm cirainage facilities. <br /> B. MLK Jr. Dr. will be extended 200 feet North of the Boyd <br /> Road intersection vaith a cross section of 2 lanes (28 foot <br /> edge �o edge) . Included would be B-6:24 curb and gutter <br /> with related storm drainage facilities. <br /> C. The construction of a 72" storm sewer from the East side <br /> of �he new roadway to a point approximately 700 feet <br /> downstream. This will replace an existing inadequate 48" <br /> and 6U" storm sewer sys�em which was construci:ed by <br /> adjacent property owners sometime in the past. The <br /> drainage area for the 72 inch storm sewer is 250 acres±. <br /> D. All unit costs are equal to those which are in the exist- <br /> ing MLK Jr.Dr. contract with Dunn Company with the excep- <br /> tion of the concrete pavement price and the 72 inch storm <br /> sewer and relaied storm sewer items. <br /> E.
