' - t <br /> 21. REGISTRATION PROCEDURES. <br /> A. All dogs kept and maintained within the corporate limits <br /> of the City of Decatur shall be registered by the owner or owners <br /> thereof with the Finance Department. Such registration shall be <br /> valid for one year from the date of vaccination. The registra- <br /> tion fee for dogs registered within 30 days of inoculation <br /> against rabies shall be Five Dollars ($5. 00) for each dog if the <br /> dog is spayed or neutered and Ten Dollars ($10. 00) if the dog is <br /> not so altered. The registration fee for any dog registered more <br /> than 30 days after the date of inoculation against rabies shall <br /> be double the original fee. <br /> 35. PAYMENT OF CITATIONS. <br /> A. A person cited for a violation of any section of this <br /> Chapter as herein provided may terminate any further proceedings <br /> by the City due to said violation by making payment to the City <br /> at the office of the City Treasurer in the amount of Twenty-Five <br /> Dollars ($25 . 00) . Payment will be considered as being made only <br /> when the City Treasurer is in receipt of the full amount. If a <br /> person is cited for more than one violation of this Chapter on a <br /> single citation, Twenty-Five ($25 . 00) must be paid for each <br /> violation listed in order to terminate any further proceedings. <br /> 36. PENALTY. <br /> A. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of <br /> the provisions hereof, shall, upon conviction be fined not less <br /> than Twenty-Five ($25 . 00) nor more than Five Hundred ($500 . 00) <br /> for each offense, and every day on which a violation occurs or <br /> continues shall be considered a separate offense. <br /> EXHIBIT A <br />
