.., . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ! � ' <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> - ENFORCEMENT, LEGAL PROCEDURE, PENALTIES - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 7th day of October, 1993 , upon due notice, <br /> the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing on the <br /> petition of Alice J. Clark, Assistant Corporation Counsel, to <br /> modify and amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur, the <br /> same being Ordinance No. 3512 , as amended, at Section XXVIII . <br /> thereof regarding enforcement, legal procedure and penalties; <br /> and, . <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission did report its <br /> findings and did recommend that said petition be granted and that <br /> the Zoning Ordinance be so modified and amended. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That the report and recommendation of the <br /> Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same are hereby, <br /> received, placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2 . That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur <br /> be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended at Section <br /> XXVIII thereof so that said Section of said Zoning Ordinance as <br /> so modified and amended provides as follows: <br /> XXVIII . ENFORCEMENT, LEGAL PROCEDURE, PENALTIES <br /> It shall be the duty of the Building Inspector to <br /> enforce this Ordinance. <br /> Any person, firm or corporation who violates, <br /> disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or <br /> who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall upon conviction be fined not less <br /> than Twenty-Five Dollars ($25 . 00) nor more than Five <br /> Hundred Dollars ($500 . 00) for each offense. Each day <br /> that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute <br /> a separate offense. <br /> In case any building or structure is erected, <br /> constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted <br /> or maintainad or any building, structure or land is used <br />
