ORDINANCE NO. ���' ��� <br /> ORDINANCE GRANTING WATER SERVICE <br /> ASH AVENUE <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the agreements for water service outside of <br /> the corporate limits presented to the Council herewith, between <br /> the City of Decatur, Illinois and those owners of premises named <br /> therein, be, and the same are hereby, received, placed on file <br /> and approved. <br /> Section 2 . That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are <br /> hereby, authorized and directed to sign, seal and attest said <br /> agreements on behalf of the City. <br /> Section 3 . That by virtue of those agreements referred to <br /> in Sections 1 and 2 hereof, the Council finds that a majority of <br /> the owners of real property in the following described area have <br /> petitioned the City for water service outside of the corporate <br /> limits thereof, said area being particularly described on Exhibit <br /> A attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 4 . That the Council hereby authorizes the Director <br /> of Public Works to prepare the 1993 Watermain Installation <br /> Project Plans (City Project 93-01) to provide for the construc- <br /> tion of watermains in Ash Avenue, said watermains to be con- <br /> structed as shown on Exhibit B attached hereto and hereby made a <br /> part hereof. <br /> Section 5 . That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, <br /> authorized to enter into water service agreements, in substantial <br /> compliance with the form of said agreement attached hereto as Ex- <br /> hibit C and hereby made a part hereof, with the owners of <br /> properties which abut and adjoin those watermains owned and <br /> operated by the City and lying outside the limits of the City of <br /> Decatur in Psh Avenue. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND ECORDED this 4th day of <br /> October, 1993 .
