WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> For and in consideration of the undertakings and covenants <br /> set out herein, it is agreed by and betweei� the Owner(s) of the <br /> premises described at paragraph 8 hereof, and which person or <br /> persons are signatory hereto, ("Owner") , and THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS, ("City") , as follows: <br /> 1 . The provisions of this Agreement, and the installation, <br /> operation and use of the water service authorized hereby, are ex- <br /> pressZy made subject to all applicable provisions oL- codes, or- <br /> dinances , rules and regulations of City, and Owner agrees to <br /> comply therewith. <br /> 2 . After completion of the construction of a water main by <br /> the City in ttze street or roadway adjacent to the premises <br /> described herein, and upon obtaining a tapping permit in the cus- <br /> tomary manner followed by the City for premises within its cor- <br /> porate limits, Owner may tap said water main of City and connect <br /> a water service thereto to furnish residential service only to <br /> said premises. � <br /> 3 . Said tap, connection and service shall be made and in- <br /> stalled by a licensed plumber. <br /> 4 . The water furnished by City shall only be used for domes- <br /> tic purposes and only upon the premises described herein. <br /> 5 . I�t such time as said premises become contiguous to the <br /> corporate limits of City, the then owner of said premises stiall, <br /> within ninety (90) days after receiving notice from City thereof, <br /> petition to annex the same to the City. <br /> 6 . Ttiis l�greement sllall terminate upon tt�e failure by Owner <br /> to comply wit}� any provision hereof or witti any applicable provi- <br /> sion of City Code, ordinances, rules or regulations, or upon the <br /> annexatior� of said premises to t}le City, and may k�e termit�ated by <br /> eitt�er party upoTi six (6) months rlotice by certified mail to the <br /> City, or to <br /> , if to the Owner. <br /> Exhibit C <br />
