J � �l> <br /> ORDINANCE DESIGNATZNG THREE-WAY STOP INTERSECTION <br /> - NORTH WATER AND EAST NORTH STREETS - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l. That the intersection of North Water and East <br /> North Streets in the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same <br /> is hereby, designated and established as a three-way stop <br /> intersection. <br /> Section 2 . That when appropriate signs are erected giving <br /> notice thereof, vehicular traffic approaching said intersection <br /> - - from any direction, shall stop and after having stopped, shall <br /> yield the right-of-way to any vehicle which has entered the <br /> intersection from another direction or which is approaching so <br /> closely on the roadway as to constitute an immediate hazard <br /> during the time when said vehicle is moving across or within the <br /> intersection, and thereafter having so stopped and so yielded, <br /> may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 3 . That any person, firm or corporation who shall <br /> violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon <br /> conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10. 00) nor more <br /> than Two Hundred Dollars ($200. 00) for each offense. <br /> Section 4 . That the provisions of all ordinances or parts <br /> of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance <br /> insofar as the same are in conflict with said provisions be, and <br /> the same are hereby, repealed. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED th ' s 20th day of <br /> September, 1993 . <br /> � <br /> � � �. <br /> ERIK C.
