o����$ No. �a - � � i <br /> ORDINANCfi ABl1TZNG LBVY <br /> GSNfiRAL OBLIGATION BONDS <br /> SSRIBS OF DfiCBA'IDfiR. 1987 <br /> WfiERfiAS, by Ordinance No. 87-137 passed and approved December 7, 1987, the <br /> Council caused general obligation bonde of the City to be iseued and did levy <br /> therein certain sums to pay the principal of and interest on eaid bonds; and, <br /> WHFsRFsAS, funds other than those raised by general taxation have or will <br /> become available to timely pay such principal and intereat as the same become <br /> due in 1992 and 1993. <br /> NOW, THFsRFs'FORfi, BFs IT ORDAZNBD BY THfi COIJNCIL OF THB CITY OF DfiCATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the levy for the year 1992 imposed by the provieions of <br /> Ordinance No. 87-137 in the amount of $274,000 be, and the same is hereby, <br /> abated. <br /> Section 2. That the County Clerk of the County of Macon, Illinois, be and <br /> he is hereby, directed to refrain fran extending said levy for said year. <br /> Section 3. That the City Treasurer be, and she is hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to timely pay said principal and interest from other funds of the City <br /> in the amount aforesaid which said funds are hereby appropriated for said <br /> purpose. <br /> Section 4.
