<br /> CAAPTER 7 — OFFICERS AND El�LOYEES GENIItAT.T.y
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,
<br /> ILLINOIS:
<br /> Section 1. That the City Code of the City of Decatur be,
<br /> and the same is hereby, modified and amended at Section 2 of
<br /> Chapter 7 thereof so that as amended and modified said Section 2
<br /> shall provide as follows:
<br /> "APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL. The City Manager shall have the
<br /> power and authority to appoint and remove at will the
<br /> Assistant City Manager, all directors of departments, fire
<br /> marshals, battalion chiefs, police personnel above the rank
<br /> of sergeant, administrative assistants, chiefs and heads of
<br /> divisions, executive and administrative secretaries, members
<br /> of the Legal Department, Personnel Specialists, Training
<br /> Officer, Budget and Technology Analysts, Human Relations
<br /> Officers, Senior Systems Analyst, Financial Reporting
<br /> Supervisor, License and Records Supervisor, Risk Management
<br /> Assistant, Records and Evidence Supervisor, Deputy Director
<br /> of Public Works, Superintendent of Streets and Sewers,
<br /> Assistant City Engineer, Fleet Supervisor, Water Plant
<br /> Maintenance Supervisor, Chief Drafter, Lake Maintenance
<br /> Supervisor, Distribution Maintenance Supervisor, Water Meter
<br /> Service Specialist, Scheduling Analyst, City Forester,
<br /> Building Inspections Supervisor, Planners, MBE/WBE
<br /> Coordinator, Community Renewal Administrator, Neighborhood
<br /> Standards Administrator, Outreach Specialists and temporary
<br /> and seasonal employees. "
<br /> Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby,
<br /> authorized and directed to cause the provisions hereof to be
<br /> appropriately set out in said City Code and to cause the same to
<br /> be published in pamphlet form.
