. , <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ��� �� <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 52 - <br /> - ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Code of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, be, and it is hereby, modified and amended at <br /> Section 34 of Chapter 52 thereof so that said section as so <br /> modified and amended shall provide as follows: <br /> 34 . CONSUMPTION IN PUBLIC PLACES. <br /> A. Alcoholic liquor shall not be consumed at anytime <br /> within the City at, in, or on the following places: <br /> (1) The right of way of any public highway, <br /> street or alley, except as otherwise expressly <br /> provided in this Code; <br /> (2) Central Park, except as otherwise <br /> expressly provided in this Code; <br /> (3) Landmark Mall, except as otherwise <br /> expressly provided in this Code; , <br /> (4) The Street Division and Transit <br /> buildings, garages and grounds; <br /> (5) Either water treatment plant and <br /> grounds, or any firehouse. <br /> B. The Council may provide by ordinance for the <br /> consumption of alcoholic liquor, or the consumption of wine <br /> and beer only, and provide for the regulation of the manner <br /> of such consumption, for limited periods of time at, in, or <br /> on any or all of, or any portion of, those places listed in <br /> Section 34 A of this Chapter. <br /> Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, <br /> authorized and directed to cause the amendatory provisions <br /> hereof to be appropriately set out in the City Code and to <br /> cause this Ordinance to be published in pamphlet form. <br />
