EXCERPTS FROM <br /> TRAFFIC & PARKING COMMITTEE MEETING <br /> MARCH 11, 1992 � <br /> ITEM #6 Request by Safety Services for "No Parking" on both <br /> sides of King Street between Pine and Van Dyke between <br /> the hours of 6: 00 p.m. to 6: 00 a.m. <br /> Wayne Hughes stated that the "No Parking" will help to <br /> control the gathering of crowds often in excess of 300 people at <br /> a car wash� and ttiat the 90-day request would be helpful if made <br /> permanent. I�e said that the owner of the car wash intends to <br /> post "No Trespassing" signs on his property to help with police <br /> enforcement. <br /> David Swartz stated that the Commission has done this in the <br /> past and it seems to be effe�ctive. <br /> . Judy Moss moved to accept the staff's recommendation to make <br /> King Street "No Parking" on both sides, Chris Herring seconded <br /> the motion and it was unanimously carried. <br />
