"(� �� �� <br /> ORDINANCE REGARDING PAY AND CERTAIN BENEFITS <br /> - POLICE SERVICE - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That effective January 1, 1992, and subject <br /> to the applicable provisions of existing ordinance or <br /> administrative order not inconsistent herewith, those <br /> positions assigned by ordinance or administrative order to <br /> pay grades or ranges in the police service be, and they are <br /> hereby, authorized to have attached thereto, and employees <br /> occupying said positions on May 1, 1992 , be, and they are <br /> hereby, authorized to be paid, the respective salary or wage <br /> set out for each such grade or range as shown on Exhibit A, <br /> said Exhibit A being attached hereto and hereby made a part <br /> hereof. <br /> Section 2 . That effective May 1 , 1992, and subject to <br /> the applicable provisions of existing ordinance or <br /> administrative order not inconsistent herewith, those <br /> positions assigned by ordinance or administrative or.der to <br /> pay grades or ranges in the police service be, and they are <br /> hereby, authorized to have attached thereto, and employees <br /> � occupying said positions on May 1 , 1992, be, and they are <br /> hereby, authorized to be paid, the respective salary or wage <br /> set out for each such grade or range as shown on Exhibit B, <br /> said Exhibit B being attached hereto and hereby made a part <br /> hereof. <br /> Section 3 . (a) That the salary and wage applicable to <br /> police patrol officers shall be increased by 10� for such <br /> officers who are assigned to plain clothes duty in the <br /> Investigations Bureau by order of the Chief of Police for <br /> the period during which said officers are so assigned. <br /> (b) That the salar and wa e a licable to police <br /> Y g PP <br /> patrol officers shall be increased by 5� for such officers <br /> I who are designated as Master Patrol Officers by order of the <br /> Chief of Police for the eriod durin which said officers <br /> P g <br /> are so assi ned. <br /> g <br /> (c) That the salary and wage applicable to police <br /> patrol officers shall be increased by 3� for such officers <br /> who are assigned to K-9 duty by order of the Chief of Police <br /> for the period during which said officers are so assigned. <br /> (d) That the salary and wage applicable to <br /> Sergeants shall be increased by 5� for such officers <br />
