The Safety Services Department shall consist <br /> of the ��XX�����//���������1///��X���//5������1//����//�������1 <br /> ���►���������/���/��i►�����������t/1���������/���/����������t//��� <br /> ���h�����/$����¢�� Police Services Division, the Fire Services <br /> Division and such other divisions as may be established by the <br /> City Manager. <br /> 8 . OTHER DIVISIONS - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. �M� <br /> ��������$/��//��I����������//���//���������������//���������//��� <br /> �����������/���//���i�i�����//$����¢��� Divisions other than the <br /> Police Services Division and Fire Services Division ����M <br /> ��������� may have police officers or firefighters assigned <br /> thereto, and transferred therefrom, at the discretion of the <br /> Director of Safety Services, and all divisions of the Safety <br /> Services Department shall have such duties and responsibilities <br /> as are assigned to each by the City Manager, including but not <br /> limited to the following: <br /> (a) To keep all records for the Department; <br /> (b) To provide communication capability for the <br /> Department; <br /> (c) To enforce animal control ordinances and statutes; <br /> (d) To enforce parking ordinances; <br /> (e) To encourage the prevention of crime and fire; <br /> (f) To investigate arsons; and, <br /> (g) To perform such other functions and duties as may be <br /> assigned from time to time by the City Manager. <br />
