Couter, Financial Management Director ��� <br /> �-- <br /> RE: Supplemental Appropriation for the Drug Enforcement <br /> Fund <br /> An item for the City Council agenda is an ordinance <br /> authorizing supplemental appropriation for the Drug Enforcement <br /> Fund. <br /> A distribution from Federal and State agencies among <br /> appropriate cities has allowed the City of Decatur to receive <br /> funding for drug enforcement. These monies are the net <br /> proceeds in the forfeiture of drug cases investigated by the <br /> City Police Services Division, Safety Services Department. <br /> Positive action by the Council will allow the expenditure <br /> of these distributions totaling $4, 000. <br /> Terms of these distributions require expending these funds <br /> for law enforcement purposes . <br /> Attachment <br />
