Containing 19,719 square feet, the area in <br /> question is platted as a single family lot and accordingly <br /> developed. The purpose of the proposed zone is to enable <br /> the rear portion of the existing lot to be sold to an <br /> adjoining property owner along Maple Avenue. <br /> The adjoining lot to the west was zoned R-2 Single Family in <br /> 1984. At that time, the existing lot was divided and a new <br /> residence was constructed at 3434 North Maple. The proposed <br /> zone change would provide for the division of the subject <br /> lot as noted above. <br /> Staff is of the opinion that the proposed zone would be <br /> consistent and compatible with the general area. In <br /> addition to the previous zone change as noted, similar <br /> changes have occurred one block to the south along Josephine <br /> Drive. <br /> Staff recommends approval of the petition as presented. <br /> It was moved and seconded (Fisher/Coulter) and unanimously <br /> approved that Cal. No. 92-05 be recommended to City Council <br /> for approval as presented. <br /> Cal. No. 92-06 Petition of WYLLENE GRIFFY for a <br /> special use permit to allow the <br /> operation of an antique shop as a <br /> historic neighborhood use on <br /> premises commonly known as 560 <br /> West North Street. <br /> Mrs. Wyllene Griffy, 254 North Pine, was present and spoke <br /> for the petition stating that a plan for parking needs to be <br /> resolved. She requested that the petition be tabled until <br /> the February, 1992 meeting of the Plan Commission. <br /> It was moved and seconded (Brinkoetter\Hunt) and unanimously <br /> approved that Cal. No. 92-06 be tabled until the February 6, <br /> 1992 meeting of the Decatur City Plan Commission. <br /> Cal. No. 92-07 Petition of MARK D. WOLFER AND . <br /> ASSOCIATES, INC. requesting <br /> approval of an R-2 Planned Unit <br /> Development for premises com- <br /> monly known as 2855 East Lost <br /> . Bridge Road. <br />
