Mr. Hynds stated that the <br /> objectors still do not want the property rezoned and <br /> developed as a multi-family use. He stated that Timber Cove <br /> is fairly secluded and not considered a part of this <br /> immediate area. Mr. Hynds noted that he would have to look <br /> at the back of the development and is concerned with the <br /> effect on property values. He stated that the neighborhood <br /> should be maintained as it is. <br /> Mr. Hunt questioned if Mr. Hynds was aware of the <br /> subdivision covenants. Mr. Hynds stated that he was. <br /> Mr. John Frey, 2727 East Lost Bridge Road, was present and <br /> spoke against the petition stating that he had bought his <br /> home in this area because there were only single family <br /> dwellings. He stated that he would also be looking at the <br /> back of the building and did not like the idea of retaining <br /> water on the property. • - <br /> Mr. Hunt questioned if Mr. Frey was aware of the subdivision <br /> covenants. Mr. Frey stated that he was not. <br /> Mr. Jack Grant, 12 Northern Drive, was present and spoke <br /> against the petition stating that he had lived there for 28 <br /> years and was concerned that this proposal would set a <br /> precedent for building condominiums or apartment buildings <br /> on other large lots in the area. <br /> Mr. Andrew Chilligiris, 2214 Western Drive, was present and <br /> spoke against the petition stating that he represented <br /> approximately 50 residents of Clesson Woods. He stated that <br /> these residents have some of the highest property taxes in <br /> the city and they want the area maintained as it is. <br /> Mr. Homer Leoucis, 2003 Lynnwood Drive, was present and <br /> spoke against the petition stating that there have been two <br /> . petitions signed in objection to the proposal. He stated <br /> that entering and exiting the project would be an issue and <br /> the safety of the school children is a concern. Mr. Leoucis <br /> stated that he was concerned that his property value would <br /> depreciate. <br /> Mr. May questioned the setback from East Lost Bridge Road. <br /> Mr. Wolfer stated that the setback is 100 feet, the same as <br /> the setback for the house immediately to the west. <br /> Mr. McQueen presented the recommendation of staff: <br />
