ICE BOATING. <br /> A. No person shall operate or use any ice boat upon the ice <br /> of Lake Decatur unless such boat or craft is licensed therefor. <br /> Applications for such licenses shall be made to the Finance <br /> Department. No license for any ice boat shall be issued unless <br /> and until the owner of such boat agrees to indemnify and hold <br /> harmless the City from and against all causes of action arising <br /> out of the o eration of said boat u on the Lake in a form to be <br /> P P , <br /> approved by the Corporation Counsel. Such licenses shall be <br /> effective from November 1 through April 30 of the succeeding <br /> year. The fee for such license shall be $��-59 25. 00. <br /> (AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 89-42, May l, 1989) <br /> B. A temporary license for an ice boat, good for not to <br /> exceed three (3) days, may be obtained by a non-resident of the <br /> Cit}�. Such temporary licenses shall be issued in like manner and <br /> with such indemnities as are provided for in Section A hereof. <br /> The fee for such license shall be 10. 00. <br /> S <br /> 48 . PIERS AND DOCRS. Piers or docks may be constructed <br /> upon Lake Decatur under the following conditions only: <br /> (a) No pier or dock shall be placed, constructed, operated <br /> or maintained in or on the Lake without a permit issued by the <br /> Finance Department after application for the same has been <br /> approved by the City Manager. <br /> (AMENDED BY ORDINANCE N0. 89-42, May 1, 1989) <br /> (b) No pier or dock shall be constructed immediately in <br /> front of another owner's private property; provided that, owners <br /> of property abutting the Lake may grant easements appurtenant to <br /> owners of property lying within 500 feet of the shoreline of the <br />
