' � � � . . _ ' , r ORDINANCE NO. �J " C� AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE TAX INCREMENT REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore adopted and approved the Redevelopment Plan and Project with respect to which a public hearing was held on December 2, 1991 , and � meetings of the Joint Review Board were held on October 31 , 1991 and November 25, 1991; and it is now necessary and desirable to designate the area referred to in said Redevelopment Plan and Project as a Redevelopment Project Area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That the following area, described in Exhibit 1 attached hereto, is hereby designated as a Redevelopment Project Area, pursuant to Section 11-74 . 4-4 of the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act, I11.Rev.Stat. 1989 , Ch. 24 , Sections 11-74 . 4-1 et seq. , as amended, S.H.A. (the "Act") , and said area is found to be a blighted area and a conservation area, pursuant to the Act. Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage and publication as provided by law. PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED this 23rd of December, 1991 . G RY K.
