ORDINANCE N0. � � � � o ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER - GOODMAR, INC. - BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That the modification of the agreement heretofore approved by Fesolution No. R91-87 between Goodmar, Inc. and the City of Decatur, said modification to provide for the construction of additional watermains in the Elm Park Subdivision, be, and the same is hereby, approved, said additional watermains to be construcced as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. Section 2 . That the circumstances necessitating the change in performance of said agreement as specified in Section 1 hereof were not within the contemplation of said agreement as signed and the requested change is in the best interest of the City of Decatur and is authorized by law. Section 3 . That the City Manager and Director of Public Works be, and they are hereby, authorized to direct Goodmar, Inc. to perform the said agreement in accordance with the change authorized hereby and to further pay to Goodmar, Inc. the additional consideration of $47 , 600 . 00 , raising the total cost of said agreement as modified by the City to $323 , 195. 00 .
