c ORDINANCE N0. I ' � 1 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING WATER SERVICE AGREEMENTS — ELM PARK SUBDIVISION — BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That the agreements for water service outside of the corporate limits presented to the Council herewith, between the City of Decatur, Illinois and those owners of premises named therein, be, and the same are hereby, received, placed on file and approve3. Section 2 . That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereb , authorized and directed to sign, seal and attest said Y I a reements on behalf of the City. g Section 3 . That by virtue of those agreements referred to in Sections 1 and 2 hereof, the Council finds that a majority of the owners of real property in the following described area have petitioned the Ci�y for water service outside of the corporate 13mits thereof, said area being particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the South 150 feet of Lot 6 in Block 1 of Elm Park Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book 335 Pa e 57 of the records in the . 5 Recorder' s Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence Easterly to the West right-of-way line of the Illinois Central Railroad; thence Southerly on the Illinois Central Railroad right-of-way line to the South line of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35 , Township 17 North, Range 2 East of the Third Principal Meridian; thence West on the South line of said Section 35 to the West right-of-way line of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive; thence Northerly to a point, said point being West of the point of beginning; thence East to the point of beginning. , Section 4 . That the Cit Mana er and the Director of Public Y g Works be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to cause water mains of the City of Decatur to be extended to the premises described in Section 3 hereof.
