� ORDINANCE NO. 1 ! ! � ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE CHAPTER 7 - OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES GENERALLY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That the City Code of the City of Decatur be , and the same is hereby, modified and amended at Section 2 of Chapter 7 thereof so that as amended and modified said Section 2 shall provide as follows: "APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL. The City Manager shall have the power and authority to appoint and remove at will the Assistant City Manager, all directors of departments , fire marshals , battalion chiefs, police personnel above the rank of sergeant, administrative assistants , chiefs and heads of divisions , executive and administrative secretaries, members of the Legal Department, Personnel Specialists , Training Officer, Budget and Technology Analysts, Human Relations Officers, Senior Systems Analyst, Financial Reporting Supervisor, License and Records Supervisor, Risk Management Assistant, Records and Evidence Supervisor, Superintendent of Streets and Sewers , Assistant City Engineer, Fleet Supervisor, Water Plant Maintenance Supervisor, Chief Drafter, Lake Maintenance Supervisor, Distribution Maintenance Supervisor, Water Meter Service Specialist, Scheduling Analyst, City Forester, Building Inspections Supervisor, Planners , MBE/WBE Coordinator, Community Renewal Administrator, Neighborhood Standards Administrator, Outreach Specialists and temporary and seasonal employees . " Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause the provisions hereof to be appropriately set out in said City Code and to cause the same to be published in pamphlet form.
