"" / � <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 34 - <br /> - TRAFFIC - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l . That Chapter 34 of the City Code of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, amended at Section <br /> 1 by adding the definition of Parkway thereto, said definition <br /> to precede the definition of Property Line and to provide as <br /> follows: <br /> Parkway: That portion of a street or highway lying <br /> between the edge of the roadway and the adjacent <br /> property line, except any sidewalk lying therein. <br /> Section 2. That Chapter 34 of the City Code of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, further amended at <br /> Section 29 by adding subsection (r) to the end thereof, said <br /> subsection (r) to provide as follows: <br /> 29 . (r) In any area between the boundary lines of a <br /> way publicly maintained for purposes of vehicular <br /> travel, not including shoulders or parkways, that is <br /> unimproved and maintained in a natural state with grass, <br /> trees or other vegetative cover. <br /> Section 3 . That all ordinances and provisions of ordinance <br /> in conflict with the provisions hereof, to the extent of said <br /> conflict, be, and the same are hereby, repealed, otherwise to <br /> remain in full force and effect. <br /> Section 4 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, <br /> authorized and directed to cause said Sections 1 and 29 of <br /> Chapter 34 as so amended to be incorporated in said City Code and <br /> to publish this ordinance as provided by law. <br />
