I� � <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING TRUCK TRAFFIC <br /> - SEMOR DRIVE - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected <br /> giving notice thereof, all trucks or other vehicles of the <br /> Second Division, as defined by the Illinois Vehicle Code, <br /> which have a Class C or higher letter (greater weight) <br /> license from the State of Illinois, or equivalent weight <br /> licenses issued by another state, are prohibited and <br /> excluded from the use of Semor Drive from its intersection <br /> with Fairview Road east to the City of Decatur corporate <br /> limits; provided, that, such prohibition of use shall not <br /> extend to fire, police or other emergency vehicles, school <br /> buses, and trucks which have a Class C or higher letter <br /> (greater weight) license which are making service calls or <br /> deliveries to residences or businesses located on said <br /> street. <br /> Section 2 . That any person, firm or corporation who <br /> shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall <br /> upon conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10 . 00) <br /> nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200 . 00) for each <br /> offense. <br /> Section 3 . That the provisions of all ordinances or <br /> parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this <br /> ordinance insofar as the same are in conflict with said <br /> provisions be, and the same are hereby, repealed. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND ECORDED this 16th day <br /> of September, 1991 . <br /> GARY .
