YGUrsS7F �`�' WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by �� said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under �� oath of Illinois Central Railroad Company requesting that there �'� be annexed to the City territory described as: �x� � Beginning at a point 139 . 5 feet West of the Southeast corner of the Southwest 1/4 Section 35 , Township 17 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , said point also the East R.O.W. line of the Illinois Central Railroad, thence North along the East R.O.W. line of said railroad to the South R.O.W. line of FAI Route 72, thence West 100 feet to the West R.O.W. line of said railroad, thence South along the West R.O.W. line of said railroad to the South line of said Southwest 1/4 Section 35 , thence East 100 feet to the P.O.B. , EXCEPT the South 790 feet, and ALSO EXCEPT the South 300 feet of the North 610 . 1 feet of that part in the Northwest 1/4 Section 35 , Township 17 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved.
